SIGN UP NOW FOR LCC CORE CLASSES - August 26, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

On August 26 from 4 to 7 pm we are holding our Connect, Grow, Serve & Worship Core Classes. In all our discipleship classes, we delve into God’s Word and discover how to simplify and focus our lives in ways that give them greater meaning and significance. If you are new to LCC, your first step is to attend the Connect Class. There, you will learn LCC’s story and how to become a member. NOTE: The Reach Class will be held Sunday, September 23 at 4 pm.

CLOTHING CONNECTION - Now accepting donations!

You may have heard about our Clothing Connection, because in years past we have “connected” with our community by giving away clothing to thousands of families. Think of the Clothing Connection as a clothing swap. But instead of swapping items the day of the event, we collect the clothes ahead of time. 

We are collecting items now for our Clothing Connection which will be held on October 20. Please bring any of your gently used clothing (baby to adult) to our pod in the parking lot anytime from now until mid-October. Also, please help us get the word out by telling your friends and neighbors about our collection too. Visit lowcountrycc.org for all the details. 

FALL ART SHOW - SEEKING ARTISTS

LCC’s Creative Arts Ministry, is now putting together its next art show that will be held on September 16. This show has an open theme, and is available to all art mediums. Registration deadline is September 2. CLICK HERE for your application and more information.

MARQUIS LAUGHLIN @ LCC - NOVEMBER 27

Marquis Laughlin this Sunday! We love Marquis' annual visit with us. Invite, invite, and invite your friends and family to come and hear Marquis' unique presentation of one of Scripture's most faced-paced books, the Acts of the Apostles. (He will deliver a portion of the whole book due to time limitations.) Many of Marquis' resources will also be available for you to purchase. They are great aids in increasing your knowledge and appreciation of the Word.

BEACH BAPTISM - Thank you!

We hope you were able to make it to our baptism last Sunday. It was a great time of family fun, eating together while listening to great music, AND of course, witnessing 26 people crossing an important milestone in their walk with God to be baptized. Congratulations! Special thanks to Carrabbas Restaurant on Hilton Head Island for donating and catering all the food for this special occasion!

CORE CLASSES (Do the Five) -  September 25 at 4:00 p.m.

Go deeper and learn practical ways to live the successful Christian life you’re hoping for. Join us for our next CORE CLASSES, Sunday, September 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. We have a class for each of the Five Purposes of LCC. CONNECT, GROW, SERVE, REACH, WORSHIP. Jump into any one, but take CONNECT first because that gives you the whole LCC story and how you can become a member. Please register by September 22 online at lowcountrycc.org. This is free. FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY (FPU) - New Session starts Monday, September 26 

Join in Dave Ramsey’s “Great Recovery” by taking our next FPU session which will be offered Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The first class entitled “Super Saving” is FREE to the public. Those wishing to participate in the remaining 12 classes pay a membership fee which includes class materials and a lifetime membership to FPU. Visit: lowcountrycc.org to register. “LET’S TALK” - An Opportunity for Dads to Bond with Their Sons. Begins September 17

Dads, is it time to have “the talk”? Do you want to have a better conversation with your son than your father had with you? Let us help narrow the communication gap. Come together on this 7-week journey to enhance your relationship with each other and God. It will be full of fun, NAS- CAR, worship, service and more. We will meet each Saturday evening at LCC for seven weeks beginning September 17 at 6:30 p.m. Cost for materials is $60 per family and scholarships are available. CLICK HERE to register.

 MARRIAGE ONENESS BIBLE STUDY

Marriage Oneness Bible Study is a follow up study to our "Art of Marriage" Conference. Couples are welcome to this study whether they went to the conference or not. This is a high commitment, 8-week study that requires homework each week, but has had a huge positive impact on the marriages of the LCC leaders that have taken it in the past.

The study will start at the on September 19 from 6:30 to 8 PM. The last session will be November 14th.

DO THE FIVE (a.k.a. Core Classes)
Sunday, September 25 from 4 to 7 pm

Here at LCC, this is THE CORE of our discipleship process for Christ followers. By exploring in depth each of the five purposes of LCC, you have the opportunity to gain knowledge, understanding, and spiritual truths that will ultimately help you develop into a more passionate follower of Christ. Dinner and childcare is provided. We encourage you to take the classes in order, but only the CONNECT Class is required to be taken first.

WORSHIP BAND WORKSHOP - Saturday, October 1 
Join us for a one-day worship band workshop sponsored by LowCountry Community Church and Hilton Head Island Community Church. Choose from four workshop tracks - band, vocal, worship leader, and tech/production! $10 donation is suggested, but not required. Work shop leaders are from the Atlanta area and serve in large churches and are very skilled in their fields. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills as a worship team member!!

Artists and singers?

We have two exciting opportunities for you this fall to use your gifts and talents at LCC through our Worship Arts Ministry.

THE ART WALL

Perhaps you have noticed the Art Wall in the Main Lobby this summer? If you are an artist or a photographer, we would love to have you share your art with us! The assignment for our second church-wide Gallery Show is going to be "Simple Blessings". Here are the details...

DURATION OF EXHIBIT: Beginning (Sunday) September 12th and running approximately eight weeks.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Art should be delivered to the Bluffton or HHI Campus no later than (Tuesday) September 7th.

DROP OFF: Art may be turned in to Mark Howard at the Bluffton Campus during the week and at the Hilton Head and Bluffton campus locations on Sundays.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The exhibit is open to all visual artists, both professional and amateur. Each artist may submit up to three pieces of original artwork reflecting the series theme. Art displayed on the gallery wall will remain there for approximately eight to nine weeks.  A label for the wall will be provided by the gallery and will correspond to a framed information sheet that will be displayed on the gallery wall in close proximity to the displayed pieces. The framed information sheet will include each individual artist's name, title, medium, contact information, etc.

GUIDELINES FOR EXHIBITING: Please include the following information: Name, title of each piece, medium of each piece and any other pertinent information - such as a website address, email address, telephone number, etc. Also, please deliver your work ready to hang.

THE WORSHIP COMMUNITY (a.k.a. LCC's choir) begins Sunday, Sept. 19 @ 6PM (Bluffton)

Psalm 100 says “Make a joyful noise to the Lord!” Join other LCC friends and participate in our “no-audition required” worship choir. We will participate in Sunday services on a once-a-month basis.
