CLOTHING CONNECTION UPDATE: We are so thankful for all the wonderful clothes that have come in so far. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY - Begins October 27
Women in Real Life is a four week bible study that will cover what God has to say about issues every woman faces: emotions, family relationships and time management. We will meet Thursday nights from 7:11 to 8:30 p.m. starting on October 27 and ending on November 17. Any woman is welcome! Sorry, no childcare for this event. KAIROS PRISON OUTREACH - Cookies & Prayer
In a couple weeks LCC will be proud to again partner with Kairos Ministries in reaching out to the inmates and staff at the prison in Ridgeland. LCC helps by praying for the weekend event and providing chocolate chip cookies. Yes, cookies and we need 500 dozen. Please consider baking a few dozen cookies in the name of Jesus and dropping them off at the church office on October 18 or 19. CLICK HERE for the recipe and more information on the vital outreach.
FRIEND DAY - Sunday October 23
Pastor Jeff is asking everyone who calls LCC home to reach out to your friends and neighbors and invite them to church on October 23. This will be a special day of friendship and outreach with the Gospel being presented. Grab a couple of LCC invite cards this Sunday and put them in the hands of the people you are praying for.
